About the role

Role Overview

You’ll join Netrolynx AI as a Software Developer working on one client project at a time in a collaborative, remote-first environment. The role focuses on planning, development, testing, and maintenance of custom software solutions.

Responsibilities

Write concise, maintainable, well-tested code using Ruby on Rails and/or Phoenix/Elixir
Collaborate with project managers, product designers, and other developers to deliver client success
Translate client requirements into technical specifications when needed
Participate in agile ceremonies and planning activities
Manage time effectively by recording and submitting weekly work hours
Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices
Stay current with industry best practices through professional development
Occasionally attend multi-day team meetings and client kickoff sessions in the continental U.S.

Requirements

Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Phoenix/Elixir
Motivation to learn and improve your software development skills
Strong communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience decomposing client requirements into actionable tasks
Familiarity with Agile practices (standups, grooming, sprint reviews)
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate occasionally with in-person meetings

Nice to Have

Interest or proficiency in Flutter for mobile app development
