Role overview

Join Slice as a Full-Stack Software Developer (Internal Products). You’ll build and maintain features for restaurant partners, helping them run more efficiently and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and ship innovative product features for restaurant partners.
Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Python and Django.
Work on database- and API-related implementation details to support product needs.

Requirements

Experience building with Django and Python.
Strong problem-solving and willingness to experiment, iterate, and improve solutions.
Strong product and customer focus—care about the “why” behind the code.
Comfortable diving into databases, APIs, and unfamiliar code; ability to learn quickly.
Owner’s mindset: take initiative and own problems end-to-end.
Ability to work fully remote and collaborate asynchronously across time zones.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Ruby.
Database experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
