Software Developer III - Full Stack

Role Overview

Software Developer III – Full Stack at Covenant Eyes. You’ll build and maintain end-to-end features that support world-class accountability solutions, with a strong focus on architecture, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level requirements into thoughtful end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend.
• Design, build, and maintain both frontend and backend systems to ensure strong user experience and application performance.
• Partner with Mobile, QA, and Platform teams to define APIs, integration points, and shared architectural patterns.
• Help define the technical approach and influence product direction (not just implement features).
• Uphold and evolve coding standards; champion clean architecture and lead meaningful code reviews.
• Write high-quality, testable code across the stack, balancing delivery speed with long-term sustainability.
• Tackle complex problems across UI responsiveness, performance, distributed systems, data modeling, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional software development experience.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, including RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Frontend experience using TypeScript with Vue.js or React.
• Hands-on experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.

• Comfort with R&D / greenfield work and the “weird phase” of development.
• Product mindset and strong architectural instincts.
