About the role

Role overview

Join Semperis as a Software Architect in Dublin (full remote). You will work with the architecture team to create product architectures that scale, evolve easily, and enable rapid feature development.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the architecture team to design scalable, easily evolvable product architectures
Work with development teams to refine and implement architectures during product development
Participate in product management meetings to influence roadmaps and assess technical impact of upcoming features
Evaluate third-party software tools
Teach and upskill development teams on new tools, technologies, and techniques
Communicate architecture decisions effectively with strong written and presentation skills

Requirements

10+ years of commercial software product development experience
Substantial coding experience with C#
5+ years of technical leadership experience (e.g., development team lead)
Experience with full-stack development (web front-end + distributed back-end)
Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns such as Microservices and CQRS
Professional English proficiency
Experience with modern microservice platform services including Kubernetes and Kafka

Nice to have / Additional skills

Coding experience with Go, TypeScript, and Python
Familiarity with additional patterns such as Sidecar and other common cloud architecture patterns
