Software Architect - Front End

Role Overview

As Technical Architect – Front End at Veeva, you will define the technical direction for how front-end developers implement UI functionality used by tens of thousands of users. You’ll drive architectural best practices, establish development patterns, and mentor other developers.

What You’ll Do

• Architect efficient, reusable front-end systems for complex web applications
• Collaborate with the platform team to design, implement, and enhance shared components across multiple application areas
• Define a framework to share code and components effectively between teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers
• Design and implement pattern libraries and style guides to enforce best practices and coding standards
• Lead code reviews regularly to ensure high code quality

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant front-end experience, including full-stack development
• Experience defining and implementing a scalable front-end framework across multiple enterprise web applications
• Strong working knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework plus HTML and CSS abstractions
• Advocate for industry best practices and sound development principles
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; proven critical thinking

Preferred

• Very strong knowledge of React and its ecosystem

• Must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States; no sponsorship is provided
• Requires being in the PST or MST time zone

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $180,000 – $300,000 (plus potential variable bonus and/or stock bonus)
