About the role

Role Overview

The Software Application Developer will design, build, and maintain web-based applications that support Jobrion’s job search and application management services.

This is a full-time remote role where you’ll implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure seamless integration with external systems and data sources.

Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient production code
Build and maintain web-based applications
Work with databases and data-driven applications
Collaborate with product and design teams
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
Optimize application performance
Maintain code quality standards
Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement
Implement system and API integrations with third-party services

Requirements

Strong software development and programming skills; experience building/maintaining production applications
Hands-on experience with databases and data-driven applications
Proficiency with web technologies including CSS for styling and front-end integration
Experience with system/API integration and connecting to third-party services
Familiarity with modern development frameworks, Git, and collaborative development practices
Ability to write clear, maintainable code; debug complex issues; optimize performance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice to Have

Experience with job search, HR tech, or ATS-related systems
