About the role
Role Overview
Strange Face is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to lead the promotional social campaign for Bublik, a short film entering the festival circuit. The role focuses on building an art-house, bilingual cinematic presence rather than generic content publishing.
What You’ll Do
- Build and run the social strategy for Bublik across Instagram and other relevant platforms, growing visibility ahead of festival submissions and screenings.
- Shape a distinctive voice and visual identity that matches the film’s tone (a bilingual art-house psychodrama).
- Plan, schedule, and produce content, including:
- teasers
- stills
- behind-the-scenes (BTS)
- talent features
- Track performance and iterate based on results.
- Coordinate with the director and production team on assets, messaging, and campaign execution.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing.
- Strong preference for experience in film, festivals, or arts/culture.
- Genuine taste for cinematic/editorial aesthetics (not just engagement metrics).
- Self-directed: comfortable owning the campaign end to end.
Details
- Location: London-based or remote.
- Contract type: Freelance/contract, project-based around the festival timeline.
How to Apply
Send a short note and examples of past campaigns (film/festival work preferred) to Artem Fedorov.
