About the role

Role Overview

Sitecore Application Developer (100% Remote, United States) to build and maintain enterprise digital experiences using Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), Sitecore XM Cloud, and Sitecore Content Hub. The role covers backend C#/.NET, front-end development, content modeling, integrations, and platform upgrades with a focus on modern composable patterns and migrating from legacy implementations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Sitecore solutions across XM Cloud, XP/XM, and Content Hub
Build templates, layouts, renderings, and components using Sitecore Helix architecture principles (feature/foundation/project modular organization)
Develop backend services in C#/.NET using Sitecore APIs and Sitecore Services
Implement headless solutions using Sitecore Headless Services, JSS, and Next.js front ends
Implement content modeling, taxonomy, and DAM integrations with Content Hub
Integrate with Sitecore Send, Sitecore Personalize, CDP, and OrderCloud
Migrate legacy XP/XM implementations to XM Cloud and composable architectures
Implement personalization, A/B testing, and analytics integrations for marketer-driven experimentation
Profile and optimize performance (caching, CDN strategies) using measurement and data-driven validation
Build CI/CD pipelines for Sitecore deployments using modern DevOps tooling
Perform code reviews, contribute to standards, and document technical decisions
Troubleshoot production issues across content delivery and content management workflows
Collaborate with content authors, designers, and product owners to improve authoring experience
Stay current with Sitecore releases and composable DXP evolution; translate updates into adoption recommendations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years (posting also mentions 6+ years) of Sitecore development experience
Strong expertise in C#/.NET and Sitecore APIs
Solid understanding of Sitecore Helix architecture
Hands-on experience with Sitecore XP, XM, or XM Cloud
Headless experience with JSS or Next.js
Strong front-end skills with modern JavaScript and build tools
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Sitecore deployments
Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

Sitecore Certified Developer credentials
Experience with XM Cloud migrations
Familiarity with Sitecore Content Hub, CDP, or Personalize
Exposure to multi-brand or multi-region Sitecore deployments
Experience with Sitecore OrderCloud commerce integrations
