Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

Join Ping Identity as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to operate and secure the company’s cloud infrastructure. You’ll manage multiple AWS accounts, deploy and troubleshoot cloud stacks, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Missions

• Manage multiple AWS accounts using tools such as AWS Control Tower and Terraform.
• Deploy and debug cloud “stacks,” and educate internal teams on new cloud projects.
• Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for internal users.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure following industry best practices and company security policies.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage public cloud resources.
• Ensure reliability and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Build/maintain monitoring and perform analysis across infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with teams using Git workflows in a team environment.
• Support DevOps automation and CI/CD-related tooling.

Requirements

• Experience provisioning public cloud resources using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• 3+ years Linux/UNIX systems administration.
• 3+ years Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• 2+ years scripting (Python / Ruby / Bash / Go).
• Solid experience with server configuration tools: Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Salt.
• Experience with Git in a team workflow (branching, merges, pull/push).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps automation platforms such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
• 2+ years with AWS Control Tower and Terraform.
• Developed monitoring solutions and performed analysis across multiple data centers.
