About the role
Role Overview
You’ll be a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a remote-first environment. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and security of cloud and DevOps systems, while optimizing CI/CD pipelines and improving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health, availability, and performance of critical systems; respond to incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain and improve deployment processes and the reliability of CI/CD pipelines.
- Build automation to reduce manual effort and streamline infrastructure management.
- Perform proactive patching, maintenance, and configuration updates with accurate documentation.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Improve DevOps best practices across monitoring, deployment workflows, and infrastructure management.
- Produce technical documentation, operational reports, knowledge base articles, and guides.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and strengthen platform resilience.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in systems administration, network administration, or SRE.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active T3 investigation and ability to obtain/maintain security clearances for classified environments.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and containerization technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and infrastructure security best practices.
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills and ability to work in fast-paced technical environments.
- Strong written communication for technical documentation and operational reporting.

- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
