Role overview

Join the Aviation organization as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). You will design and build systems, tooling, and processes to deliver an extensible, scalable, and observable platform, helping development teams move faster without sacrificing reliability.

Key missions

Design and build systems, tooling, and processes for an extensible, scalable, observable platform.
Enable development teams to own and manage their full application stack, reducing bottlenecks and improving development velocity.
Improve observability coverage for the Aerodome platform and contribute to project delivery.
Enhance the CI pipeline to support reliable, efficient releases.

Responsibilities

Onboard into and improve platform reliability practices.
Contribute to platform engineering initiatives.
Collaborate on building a monitoring platform that alerts on symptoms rather than outages.
Manage systems to align with internal SLIs and SLOs.

Requirements

Experience refining CI/CD processes to reliably and efficiently push code to production.
Production-quality coding experience.
Ability to collaborate on monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
Experience managing monitoring dashboards (e.g., Grafana and Prometheus) to create actionable alerts.
SRE experience with a strong understanding of operational reliability.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and/or configuration management (Terraform).
Familiarity with AWS best practices (e.g., security groups, VPC).

Comfort applying even if you don’t meet every qualification.
