About the role

Role Overview

Join Fireblocks’ newly formed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to build strong observability capabilities and ensure the reliability of production systems.

Key Missions

  • Establish and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for services using a variety of tools.
  • Handle critical alerts and incidents, partnering closely with R&D to improve and optimize availability.
  • Research Fireblocks blockchain workflows and identify opportunities to optimize, fix issues, and strengthen monitoring.
  • Support reliability efforts by taking initiatives from POC to production.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Configuration management experience (e.g., Ansible/Chef/Puppet/ArgoCD).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex production problems.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • 3+ years experience as an SRE / Infra Backend in a SaaS environment.
  • Coding experience in Python / JavaScript / Bash (required).
  • 3+ years experience with alerting & monitoring tools such as Datadog and/or Coralogix, Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus.
  • Experience with SCM tools (e.g., Git/Bitbucket/GitLab and similar platforms).
  • Experience working with Linux systems (from kernel to shell).
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Google Cloud / Azure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with cryptocurrencies / blockchains.
  • In-depth knowledge in Linux optimization, Nginx, ArgoCD, Datadog, MySQL.
  • Participation in Kubernetes migration projects.
  • BSc in Computer Science or related certification.
  • Previous experience as a C++ or Node developer.
