About the role

Role Overview

Site Reliability Engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling Evlo AI’s core platform infrastructure powering high-throughput production systems. You will ensure high availability and very low latency, partnering with product teams to deliver self-service platform tools and cloud-native deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and reduce time-to-production using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD
Own observability practices with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Datadog to proactively detect and diagnose anomalies
Lead incident response, run post-mortems, and perform root-cause analysis; convert learnings into automated preventive measures
Optimize cloud spend and performance, including databases and caching layers across PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Build internal automation tools/CLIs in Go or Python to simplify infrastructure provisioning for development teams
Maintain 99.99% uptime SLA across user-facing services

Requirements

3–6 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering, managing highly available SaaS platforms
Strong shell scripting skills and at least one high-level language: Go, Python, or Ruby
Deep expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Hands-on experience with cloud networks (e.g., VPC, CDN routing, load balancing) on AWS or GCP
Experience managing production databases and caching at scale

CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
AWS Solutions Architect certification
Experience implementing service mesh topologies with Istio
