Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll ensure availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and capacity management for Evlo AI’s high-throughput global cloud infrastructure. You’ll partner with product development teams to improve reliability, strengthen observability, and promote infrastructure-as-code practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS with Terraform, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI to enable safe, automated releases
• Own observability for microservices, configuring Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry for proactive alerting and performance monitoring
• Lead incident response, run blameless post-mortems, and implement automated remediation to reduce MTTR
• Configure and manage data stores and caching layers, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka, with focus on performance tuning and replication
• Develop internal automation tools (CLI/tools and scripts) in Go or Python to eliminate operational toil and streamline developer workflows

Requirements

• 3–6 years in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering, managing production environments at scale
• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with Terraform and experience operating containerized workloads on Kubernetes
• Solid scripting/programming experience in Go, Python, or Bash for automation and tooling
• Deep understanding of networking, security standards (TLS, IAM, VPC), and Linux systems internals
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
