Senior Webflow Developer

Role Overview

Senior Webflow Developer to own and elevate BX Studio’s most complex Webflow web projects. You’ll work closely with designers, strategists, and junior developers to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performance sites on time and on budget, while applying advanced Webflow features.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery: scoping and wireframes through launch and post-launch optimization.
• Architect scalable Webflow systems using Client-First (or similar), including:
  • Components and class structures
  • CMS schema design
• Mentor and review junior developers; set and enforce best practices for:
  • Accessibility
  • Performance
  • Responsive design
• Build advanced functionality, including:
  • Memberships and logic flows
  • Complex animations
  • E-commerce
  • API integrations and Zapier/Make workflows
  • Custom code embeds
• Translate design files (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD) into production-ready Webflow builds with high fidelity and polished micro-interactions.
• Optimize for SEO, speed, and analytics, targeting Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to provide technical guidance, accurate estimates, and proactive solutions.
• Continuously improve processes by researching new Webflow releases, no-code tools, and automation.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional Webflow development (or 6+ years front-end with 3+ in Webflow).
• Portfolio showing complex, high-traffic Webflow sites with CMS, e-commerce, and custom interactions.
• Expert understanding of Client-First nomenclature and component libraries (e.g., Relume, Flowbase).
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Comfortable writing custom code when Webflow native tools are insufficient.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent pixel-perfect execution across breakpoints and browsers.
• Leadership/mentorship experience (setting standards, running code reviews, upskilling).
• Strong project management skills (scoping, documentation, meeting deadlines).
• Reliability and initiative in a fully remote environment.
• Availability to work core hours in EST or PST.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with sophisticated analytics implementations and performance tuning aligned to Core Web Vitals (if not already covered in portfolio).
