Senior Webflow Developer

Role Overview

BX Studio is hiring a Senior Webflow Developer to own and elevate the agency’s most complex Webflow projects. You’ll collaborate with designers, strategists, and junior developers to deliver production-ready sites that meet performance and SEO goals.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end: scoping and wireframes through launch and post-launch optimizations.
• Architect scalable Webflow systems using Client-First (or similar) including:
  • components and class structures
  • CMS schema
• Mentor and review junior developers; set best practices for:
  • accessibility
  • performance
  • responsive design
• Implement advanced Webflow capabilities, including:
  • memberships and logic flows
  • complex animations
  • e-commerce
  • API integrations and Zapier/Make connections
  • custom code embeds
• Translate design files (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD) into Webflow with strong fidelity and micro-interaction polish.
• Optimize SEO and performance (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals) and ensure analytics readiness.
• Support clients and stakeholders with technical guidance, accurate estimates, and proactive problem-solving.
• Continuously improve workflow by researching new Webflow releases and no-code/automation tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional Webflow development (or 6+ years front-end with 3+ in Webflow).
• Portfolio of complex, high-traffic Webflow builds, including CMS, e-commerce, and custom interactions.
• Expert knowledge of Client-First nomenclature and component libraries (e.g., Relume, Flowbase).
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and REST/GraphQL APIs; able to write custom code when needed.
• Strong attention to detail for pixel-perfect delivery across breakpoints and browsers.
• Leadership/mentorship experience: code standards, code reviews, and upskilling.
• Strong project-management: accurate scoping, clear documentation, meeting deadlines.
• Reliable and proactive in a fully remote environment.
• Availability for core hours in EST or PST time zones.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced analytics/SEO setups and automation workflows (implied by analytics + no-code/automation focus).
