Senior Web Developer

Role Overview

Senior Web Developer to build performant, scalable, and user-centric web applications. You’ll partner with Product and Design to turn ideas into high-quality features, with a strong focus on frontend performance, usability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Modern Web Development: Design and build scalable web apps using modern JavaScript frameworks, with React and component-driven architecture.
• Frontend Engineering Excellence: Use advanced JavaScript (ES6+, Promises) and modern CSS to deliver responsive, accessible, high-performing UI.
• Cross-Browser Reliability: Ensure consistent behavior across modern browsers (Chrome, Safari) and mobile via debugging and testing.
• API Integration & Data Management: Integrate GraphQL APIs to fetch, manage, and synchronize application data.
• Code Quality & Collaboration: Collaborate using Git and distributed version control; maintain clean, reviewable code.
• Testing Mindset: Write and maintain automated tests to ensure stability and reliability.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and improve browser-based performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, focused on frontend or full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on experience with React (Vue or Angular acceptable).
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+), modern CSS, and browser behavior.
• Proficiency with Git and distributed version control.
• Strong debugging skills across browsers and devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Performance tuning for JavaScript/browser-based applications.
• Experience building and maintaining SPAs.
• Familiarity with Jest or Cypress.
• Full-stack exposure with Node.js and/or TypeScript.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.
