About the role

Role Overview

Contract Senior UX Researcher (Mobile) for a global healthcare-focused information analytics organization. This role is 100% remote, but regional to Philadelphia only (cannot hire in NYC) with ~1x/month travel to Philadelphia. Expected duration is 4+ months, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UX research (discovery, strategic, and usability) ensuring alignment with business goals.
Build an evidence-based mobile research strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Advocate for UX research best practices, with a focus on mobile.
Develop a deep understanding of customer mobile use cases and ensure their needs are addressed.
Translate research into actionable insights that support product teams’ decisions.
Conduct and manage research in a fast-paced sprint environment (noted 2-week cycle), balancing exploration and execution.

Requirements

Strong UX research experience supporting discovery, strategic, and usability research end-to-end.
Ability to synthesize findings into specific actionable recommendations tied to business needs.
Mixed-methods approach (exploratory and tactical) with comfort using data to inform research direction.
Portfolio/work samples showing end-to-end UXR case studies from concept to completion.
Demonstrated ability to lead UX research projects and deliver actionable insights.

Nice to Have

Healthcare industry experience/background.
Experience working within quick-iteration, sprint-based product teams.
