About the role

Role: Senior UX Researcher & Analyst

Own the end-to-end research and design function at Casechek, directly informing product decisions and shipping design output that Engineering builds from.

What you’ll do

Lead the full arc from user research → synthesis → prioritized recommendations → handoff-ready designs
Conduct and analyze user research to clarify ambiguous product questions into structured insights
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for implementation
Present and defend your recommendations with Product, Engineering, and leadership
Leverage AI throughout your workflow to operate effectively as a team of one
Work with strong autonomy: be comfortable operating without heavy direction

How success is measured

Research insights translate into clear, prioritized product recommendations
Design outputs are accurate, actionable, and ready for Engineering
You can synthesize findings and communicate a strong point of view

Requirements

Strong analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity
Ability to move from ambiguous questions to structured recommendations
Comfort operating with significant autonomy
Confidence presenting and defending decisions in cross-functional rooms

Nice-to-haves

Experience using AI tools to accelerate research and design workflows
Experience working in small, highly collaborative teams

Note

This role is remote and you will be the only designer responsible for both research and design.

It automates workflows for vendor-supported surgical procedures, providing a Bill Only system of record for hospitals and health systems to manage complex surgical cases involving implantable medical devices.
