About the role

Role overview

Join PointClickCare as a Senior UX Designer (Senior Care) to improve the usability of the company’s platform for care professionals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, prototype experiences, and champion UX best practices in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
Create mockups and prototypes to articulate functionality and interaction design.
Refine user personas and map user journeys.
Partner with Product Management to iterate on product execution.
Work with Engineers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
Champion UX best practices and build relationships with users and internal stakeholders (e.g., customer success).

Requirements

Strong visual design and empathetic, interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset and ability to thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment.
Experience working with Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance / Regulatory teams.
Proven ability to procure and use qualitative and quantitative data.
Experience with Figma and design/prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe, Protopie).
Experience in an agile environment.
Background in usability testing and analytics platforms.
Strong attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

Experience with AI prototyping tools.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for discussing specs with engineers.
