About the role
Role overview
Join PointClickCare as a Senior UX Designer (Senior Care) to improve the usability of the company’s platform for care professionals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, prototype experiences, and champion UX best practices in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Create mockups and prototypes to articulate functionality and interaction design.
- Refine user personas and map user journeys.
- Partner with Product Management to iterate on product execution.
- Work with Engineers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Champion UX best practices and build relationships with users and internal stakeholders (e.g., customer success).
Requirements
- Strong visual design and empathetic, interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset and ability to thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Experience working with Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance / Regulatory teams.
- Proven ability to procure and use qualitative and quantitative data.
- Experience with Figma and design/prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe, Protopie).
- Experience in an agile environment.
- Background in usability testing and analytics platforms.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI prototyping tools.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for discussing specs with engineers.
