About the role

Role overview

Join PointClickCare as a Senior UX Designer (Senior Care) to improve the usability of the company’s platform for care professionals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, prototype experiences, and champion UX best practices in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Create mockups and prototypes to articulate functionality and interaction design.
  • Refine user personas and map user journeys.
  • Partner with Product Management to iterate on product execution.
  • Work with Engineers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Champion UX best practices and build relationships with users and internal stakeholders (e.g., customer success).

Requirements

  • Strong visual design and empathetic, interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working with Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance / Regulatory teams.
  • Proven ability to procure and use qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience with Figma and design/prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe, Protopie).
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • Background in usability testing and analytics platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI prototyping tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for discussing specs with engineers.
