Role Overview

Senior UX Designer / Researcher (Remote) — Ad Hoc LLC

In this role, you’ll be an experienced individual contributor within a team, with growing opportunities to develop leadership, guidance, and mentoring skills. You’ll support delivery against scope, schedule, and requirements while contributing to the program’s UX strategy.

Responsibilities

• Use strong influence and relationship-building to collaborate with team members, government/company stakeholders, and program management
• Lead or participate in cross-functional delivery efforts
• Navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
• Deliver design work and artifacts, including:
  • Design initiative briefs
  • Discovery artifacts, sketches, wireframes, and UX flows
  • Low- and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis
  • Design system contributions
• Plan, conduct, analyze, and share insights from user research aligned to team questions and goals
• Prioritize research projects based on team needs and research capacity
• Influence and communicate the program’s research strategy
• Apply human-centered design processes and deliverables in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Provide typography and hierarchy recommendations based on strong design skill principles
• Coach designers/researchers with actionable feedback focused on objective growth
