Role overview

Join Jacobian as Senior UX Designer & Design Lead to shape the Radiology Reporting platform. You will own the end-to-end user experience, lead design execution, and mentor the team while partnering closely with Product and Engineering.

Key missions

Own the end-to-end UX: translate complex clinical needs into intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
Work in a tight triad with Product and Engineering to balance:
- user needs
- technical feasibility
- business goals
Lead and mentor a User Researcher and UI Designer, fostering a culture of:
- mentorship
- high design standards
- empathy
Optimize clinical workflows and advocate for user-centric design in a high-pressure healthcare setting.

Requirements

5+ years in UX/Product Design, with a strong track record in complex B2B environments.
Experience ideally in HealthTech, MedTech, or Life Sciences.
Fluent English and able to clearly communicate design decisions to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Strong (or eager-to-build) healthcare mindset, including familiarity with medical imaging, DICOM standards, and hospital/diagnostic-center realities.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, emerging problem spaces where workflows and terminology are still evolving.
Proven leadership/mentoring experience: providing constructive feedback and helping designers grow.
Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma and a solid foundation in user research methodologies and rapid prototyping.

Nice-to-haves

Direct experience with DICOM and radiology/medical imaging workflows.
Deep experience improving clinical workflows in healthcare products.
