Role Overview

Senior User Experience Writer (Systems) at Articulate. You’ll operationalize content design within the design system by creating writing standards and scalable frameworks across multiple products. You’ll partner with design teams to advance accessibility and localization, ensuring content is inclusive and usable.

Key Missions

Design and drive writing excellence by creating operational methodologies for product content development.
Embed writing guidance (best practices, style principles) into current and evolving design systems.
Build and manage AI-powered systems, tools, and workflows that increase product organization capacity and improve output quality.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with design teams and cross-functional partners to turn complex product and content needs into clear, actionable writing guidance.
Develop frameworks that scale across products and support consistent, high-quality UX writing.
Support accessibility and localization initiatives through thoughtful content design.

Requirements

8+ years as a UX Writer, with strong knowledge of user-centered design principles.
Proven ability to work with complex systems and translate complexity into clarity.
Demonstrated fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT or similar) used for content design workflows, including experience building and maintaining AI-powered systems for team-wide use.
Ability to use empathy, logic, and data to inform design and writing decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; can present research and insights to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Strong collaboration across design, product management, engineering, and research, including partnering closely with technical writers.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with localization workflows, including writing for translatability, working with translation management systems, or collaborating with L10n engineering teams.
Passion for building accessible, inclusive quality products and evangelizing those practices.
