Senior User Experience (UX) Designer

Lead the design of digital experiences for high school coaches, athletes, and their teams at Hudl—helping organizations run more effectively through video analysis, team management, and recruiting opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and translate user research to uncover deeper “why” and latent needs behind user feedback.
• Turn research into actionable insights that inform physical + digital product experience strategy and design.
• Tell stories visually and verbally by crafting and communicating compelling, differentiated concepts aligned to customer and business needs.
• Clarify ambiguous problem spaces by identifying key user characteristics, environments, and market expectations to enable prioritized, intuitive experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, Scrum, and Quality to define requirements and deliver clear UX.
• Advocate for design excellence with focus on tactility and accessibility, guiding work through to release.
• Measure results after delivery and own how well solutions address design and product needs.

Must-Haves

• Strong communication: presentation skills, ability to sell ideas with strong rationale, and comfort giving/receiving direct feedback.
• Product leadership: think holistically about how features perform within the broader Hudl suite.
• Iterative prototyping: proficiency with low/high-fidelity prototyping and wireframing.
• Problem-solving: critical, end-to-end thinking across user interactions with solutions that respect technical, business, and design constraints.
• Organizational skills: determine the right level of design/research effort and plan delivery; work with the Hudl design system (Uniform) and its team.
• Technical proficiency: (truncated in source text).

Location / Remote Policy

• Prefer candidates living near Hudl offices in Lincoln and Omaha.
• Also open to remote candidates in: Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, or Phoenix.
