Senior User Experience Designer

About the role

Join Chainguard, a company dedicated to securing the software supply chain. As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive and high-performance experiences across our product suite. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design workflows that simplify complex security and infrastructure concepts. Your responsibilities will include designing end-to-end user experiences, creating wireframes and prototypes, improving usability and performance, and gathering user feedback. This is a remote position with flexible coworking and team meetup opportunities, unlimited PTO, and comprehensive health insurance coverage. Key missions: Design end-to-end user experiences for Chainguard products, from concept through launch and iteration.. Translate complex technical systems into intuitive, developer-friendly workflows.. Gather and incorporate user feedback directly from customers and end users to continuously improve the experience. Profile: - Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, etc.) - Experience designing for: developer tools, APIs / platforms, and infrastructure or security products - Experience designing interactions between AI systems and users - 8+ years of experience in UX/Product Design - Experience designing web applications at scale - Strong portfolio demonstrating: complex workflows, data-rich interfaces, user-centered approach and end-to-end product thinking - Proficiency in collecting feedback from users - Familiarity with Design Sprint and Agile development, bonus if they led design sprints that resulted into product launches - Experience with design systems (e.g., Material UI or similar) - Experience and ability to partner with marketing to help drive user growth (Product Led Growth, aka PLG)
