About the role

Role Overview

Join the Salesforce Platform team as a Senior UI/UX Designer. You’ll shape the end-to-end experience of platform products and tools by partnering with product managers, engineers, and designers.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

Lead UX design end-to-end for platform features, from early discovery and concept through detailed interaction design and delivery.
Conduct user research, including usability testing and interviews, to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
Translate technical requirements into design solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate with engineering for pixel-perfect implementation.
Contribute to the design system, facilitate design reviews, and advocate for accessibility and inclusive design.

Requirements

5+ years of product or UX design experience, ideally in platform/infrastructure/developer tools.
Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher).
Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to present and defend design decisions.
Experience designing complex, data-rich interfaces and technical workflows.
Strong portfolio showing an end-to-end UX process (research/ideation to polished UI).
Familiarity with front-end development concepts: HTML/CSS/JS.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Experience designing developer or API-facing products.
Experience conducting generative and evaluative research independently.

Nice-to-Haves

Exposure to generative/evaluative research methods beyond baseline usability research.
