About the role

Role Overview

Senior UI Developer (Remote) for a client engagement lasting 12+ months (contract). You will build and improve responsive front-end web interfaces from designs and collaborate closely with product and engineering partners.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive front-end applications using HTML5/CSS3 and modern JavaScript.
Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes, and mockups into functional web interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Optimize performance, scalability, accessibility, and page load speed.
Follow coding standards to produce clean, maintainable, reusable code.
Stay current on emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 (including Flexbox, Grid, and Animations).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with TypeScript, jQuery, and a Content Management System (CMS).
Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with Git for version control.
Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Bachelor’s degree or similar.
