About the role

Role Overview

Join Twilio as a Senior Technical Talent Advisor for EMEA, partnering with engineering and product leadership to expand and strengthen core engineering and product teams. You will shape regional hiring strategy, run full-cycle recruitment for complex roles, and help scale diverse, high-quality recruiting programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor and trusted thought partner to engineering and product leadership using talent intelligence and market knowledge.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for complex and specialized R&D roles.
  • Build and scale engineering recruiting programs that:
    • institutionalize a high technical talent bar
    • ensure equitable hiring outcomes
    • deliver a positive candidate experience
  • Use talent data analytics and market intelligence to make evidence-based hiring decisions.
  • Improve hiring processes and technical recruiting initiatives.
  • Evaluate and validate candidate skills; act as a brand ambassador for Twilio.
  • Proactively source and develop technical talent pipelines across multiple open roles and urgency levels (not dependent on inbound).
  • Guide stakeholders on market realities and help close in-demand talent via strong EVP, flexible remote model, and culture.

Requirements

  • Extensive full-cycle technical recruiting experience hiring for software/ML/AI engineers, TPMs, and engineering management.
  • Proven ability to close top talent and manage complex offer packages; strong communication, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong talent analytics and market intelligence skills; ability to earn trust of R&D leaders.
  • Experience leading process improvements and technical hiring initiatives.
  • Advanced sourcing skills and ability to run high-signal candidate journeys.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern technical recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms, candidate relationship management, and AI recruiting tools/technology.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience hiring technical talent in North America and Latin America.
  • Background in tech or tech-adjacent environments (e.g., Fintech).
