Senior Technical Sourcer

Role Overview

Senior Technical Sourcer to scale a high-growth Engineering organization by building diverse, high-quality talent pipelines. You will partner with Engineering leadership and Talent Acquisition to identify and engage niche technical talent for complex scaling and data challenges.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, AI/ML, and Infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Run intake calls with Engineering leaders and Hiring Managers to understand technical requirements and team culture.
• Outreach & Engagement: Create compelling, personalized messaging to reach passive candidates.
• Candidate Qualification: Conduct phone screens to evaluate technical aptitude and cultural alignment; provide detailed summaries and recommendations.
• Tool Utilization: Use advanced sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Google Boolean search techniques.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain real-time accuracy of candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Ashby).

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated technical sourcing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated sourcing success for complex engineering roles (e.g., Distributed Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, AI/ML).
• Advanced research and networking skills, with creative sourcing approaches beyond standard job boards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence leaders.
• Proficiency with modern ATS tools (Ashby experience is a plus).
• Self-motivated, action-oriented mindset with continuous improvement using feedback and data.

Contract & Location

• 5-month initial contract
• Pay rate: $54–$60/hr (DOE)
• Open to remote, hybrid, or fully onsite in Menlo Park, CA
