Senior Technical Project Manager

Role: Senior Technical Project Manager (Infrastructure TPM)

You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical initiatives in a large, distributed engineering organization.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery across engineering domains for complex technical initiatives.
• Drive alignment on outcomes, scope, sequencing, risks, dependencies, ownership, and success measures across multiple teams.
• Translate ambiguous goals into clear execution plans, operating rhythms, decision points, and accountability structures.
• Act as a strategic delivery leader (not a meeting/status facilitator), anticipating follow-ups and surfacing what’s missing.
• Challenge weak assumptions and timelines to improve decision quality and reduce delivery risk.
• Identify risks early, assess impact, drive mitigation planning, and escalate with recommendations.
• Partner with engineering leaders to understand technical context, architecture implications, dependencies, and constraints.
• Provide concise, leadership-ready updates focused on progress, risks, changes, decisions, and recommended actions.
• Facilitate discussions to drive teams to closure on priorities, tradeoffs, commitments, and next steps.
• Improve execution quality by spotting patterns, friction points, and systemic gaps, and helping teams adopt better ways of working.
• Explore and scale AI-enabled project management practices (e.g., planning support, technical synthesis, status reporting, dependency analysis, risk detection, decision support).
• Lead/support initiatives tied to AI-enabled product capabilities and AI experimentation/investments as priorities evolve.

Requirements

• Senior-level judgment and independent ownership for complex, cross-functional delivery.
• Ability to convert ambiguous objectives into actionable execution plans and decision support for leadership.
• Strong risk management with recommended mitigation/escalation.
• Comfort collaborating deeply with engineering to handle technical context and delivery constraints.
• Curiosity and practical application of AI-enabled tools to improve delivery quality and reduce manual overhead in planning/reporting.
