Senior Technical Project Manager (Growth Solutions)

Role overview

Join Workiva’s Growth Solutions team as a Senior Technical Project Manager. You’ll operate as the bridge between product ideas and technical execution, helping the engineering team deliver AI-native products while continuously evolving the team’s operating model as AI-augmented practices mature.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery across mixed-shore teams, maintaining strong sequencing and delivery momentum.
• Collaborate with Product to pressure-test priorities, surface dependencies, and ensure customer signals are reflected in the plan.
• Evolve operating processes by selecting and adapting the right methodologies for the team’s stage (hybrid approach across Agile, Kanban, and Six Sigma).
• Lead decision-driven reviews and continuously improve processes.
• Translate technical status into business impact for executives and stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions and push back on estimates or architectures when needed.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical project/program management experience in a software engineering environment.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical/STEM field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Active, hands-on experience using AI-augmented development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLM-based workflows).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Strong Jira proficiency (dashboards, workflows, configuration).
• Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet or Productboard.
• Strong data analysis skills to synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable priorities.
• Ability to translate technical status into business impact for executive audiences.
• Reliable internet access for remote work.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for team engagement.
