Senior Technical Program Manager (Product Engineering)

Role Overview

Join Lambda as a Senior Technical Program Manager (Product Engineering) to lead large-scale software development programs for the Lambda AI Cloud compute platform. You will define program scope and success criteria, partner with engineers on technical design and architecture reviews, and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Key Missions

• Lead and manage large-scale, complex software development programs for the Lambda AI Cloud compute platform.
• Define program scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance, translating product requirements into actionable work plans.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs; develop mitigation strategies and communicate impact.
• Drive technical program communication as the primary interface across teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with engineers on technical design decisions and architecture reviews.
• Apply strong knowledge of SDLC and program management practices to coordinate delivery.
• Operate effectively in a rapidly scaling environment, managing multiple programs concurrently.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management and/or technical management.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud-based products or services.
• Strong preference/fit for infrastructure, distributed systems, or high-performance computing (HPC), especially related to AI/ML platforms.
• Expert knowledge of SDLC methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to drive decisions in ambiguous technical domains.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in AI/ML infrastructure, GPU/accelerator platforms, or container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
