Senior Technical Program Manager (Product Engineering)

About the role

Join our team as a Senior Technical Program Manager, where you will lead and manage large-scale software development programs for the Lambda AI Cloud compute platform. You will define program scope, objectives, and success criteria, while engaging with engineers on technical design decisions and architecture reviews. You will also proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and serve as the primary interface for program communication. This role requires a deep understanding of software development life cycles, cloud infrastructure, and experience in technical program management. Key missions: Lead and manage large-scale, complex software development programs for the Lambda AI Cloud compute platform.. Define program scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance, translating product requirements into actionable work plans.. Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, developing mitigation strategies and communicating impact. Profile: - Possess a deep understanding of software development life cycles, cloud infrastructure, and the unique challenges associated with delivering high-performance AI compute solutions - 8+ years of experience in a technical program management and/or technical management role - Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud-based products or services, with a strong preference for experience in infrastructure, distributed systems, or high-performance computing (HPC)/AI/ML platforms - Prior experience working on AI/ML infrastructure, GPU/accelerator platforms, or container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) - Expert-level knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and project management tools - Demonstrated ability to drive strategic decision-making in ambiguous technical domains - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs concurrently - Experience operating in a rapidly scaling environment
