Senior Technical Program Manager

Role overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Monzo, you’ll lead end-to-end planning and execution for launching payment products that span multiple teams and disciplines. You’ll manage cross-functional programs, drive decision-making, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery.

Key missions

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution for payment product launches across teams and disciplines
• Define program roadmaps and milestones, set priorities, manage trade-offs
• Identify and manage the critical path and delivery risks
• Collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and speed of delivery

Requirements

• Clear, persuasive communication with a wide range of audiences including executive leadership
• Ability to dive into data and architecture to make decisions in complex situations
• Experience working in a global business and scaling across multiple markets
• Understanding of how product functionality comes together across products and platforms to deliver user value; proactive risk mitigation
• 5+ years managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch
• Strong collaboration skills; able to thoughtfully challenge and influence others

Location / working model

• Can be based in London, or distributed working within the UK with occasional London meetings (full remote).
