About the role

Role Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager within Microsoft’s Azure Chief Product Office (Customer and Field Experience / CFx). You will engage directly with enterprise customers at massive scale to drive platform improvements through disciplined program leadership and hands-on technical execution.

Responsibilities

Customer Technical Engagement: Serve as primary engineering point of contact for top customers; partner with customer engineering teams, MCAPS technical teams, and Azure service owners.
Program Planning & Execution: Lead complex cross-team technical programs (scope, milestones, dependencies, execution plans, and success criteria). Track progress, manage risks, and coordinate delivery.
Escalation & Issue Management: Coordinate Azure engineering response during technical issues/escalations, drive resolution, and communicate transparently.
Platform Feedback & Improvement: Identify recurring issues, analyze patterns, translate insights into engineering feedback, and validate customer scenarios with Azure service teams.
Communication & Collaboration: Provide clear status/risk updates and collaborate across product, engineering, support, and field teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development (or equivalent experience).
2+ years managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Ability to meet Microsoft/customer/government security screening requirements.
