About the role

Role overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at KAYAK, you will enhance KAYAK’s travel content offering for corporate customers. You’ll partner with suppliers and content aggregators, own the content strategy, oversee content integrations, and represent KAYAK to external content partners while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

Own content strategy for improving KAYAK’s travel content offering.
Oversee content integrations: implementation and ongoing maintenance across multiple travel verticals.
Coordinate rollouts of new product features across existing suppliers.
Manage partner relationships with suppliers and content aggregators; act as KAYAK’s technical/program liaison.
Ensure compliance with local regulations for content and integrations.

Requirements

5+ years of shop & book API experience in the travel industry.
Experience collaborating with third parties to deliver technical solutions to market.
Experience working across commercial and engineering teams to meet user needs.
Product ownership experience in Agile teams (preferred).
Data analysis proficiency, including running SQL queries and using data to drive alignment.
Practical understanding of travel APIs and booking flows, including:
- GDS
- NDC
- TMC workflows
Ability to align product opportunities to business goals, making thoughtful decisions with clear communication.
Strong collaboration skills across time zones and business levels.
BS degree or equivalent experience; technical background strongly preferred. MBA is advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

Prior experience as a Product Owner in Agile Teams.
MBA or similar business/strategy background.
