Senior Technical Program Manager

Role overview

DDN is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive execution across product and engineering initiatives. You will partner closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex, multi-team programs supporting DDN’s product roadmap and technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, multi-team programs across product management, engineering, and supporting teams.
• Own end-to-end customer POC program management, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, support, and account teams.
• Build and manage integrated schedules, working backwards from product launch and delivery targets.
• Drive accountability across teams, ensuring commitments, dependencies, and deliverables are met.
• Identify risks, technical dependencies, and resource constraints early and drive mitigation plans.
• Align on priorities, scope, and tradeoffs with product and engineering leadership.
• Provide clear program status via dashboards and executive-level summaries.
• Continuously improve program management processes, tooling, and operational rigor.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in program management, technical program management, or equivalent leadership roles.
• Proven experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering on complex product development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, development lifecycles, and system delivery.
• Ability to manage large, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
• Experience in schedule management and risk management with a strong execution discipline.
• Familiarity with program/project tracking tools such as Jira.
• Excellent communication skills to influence and align senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Location & travel

• Bay Area / RTP (San Francisco County, CA) with occasional travel or in-person meetings as needed.
