About the role

Role Overview

DailyPay is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead development and delivery of programs, products, and services in R&D. The role drives strategic initiatives with complex dependencies, risk and stakeholder management, and technical roadmapping—while advancing Data Governance and Data Privacy programs.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale, critical financial applications end-to-end.
Partner with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and other teams to define program scope, requirements, and deliverables.
Drive Data Governance and Data Privacy programs forward.
Establish clear and consistent communication channels; provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Identify, assess, and mitigate cross-team dependencies to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
Manage risks across the program lifecycle; develop contingency plans and escalate issues as needed.
Continuously improve program and portfolio management processes, leveraging AI for automation and efficiency.
Mentor junior program managers and/or contribute to best practices for program management.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in technical program management/project management in a software development environment.
Hands-on experience incorporating AI into day-to-day work to optimize operations and improve technical processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Data Governance and Data Privacy initiatives (e.g., data retention policies and/or data subject request programs).
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methods (Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; results-oriented and customer-value focused.
Leadership skills to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
Certifications in program/service management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, ITIL).
