About the role

Role Overview

Cribl is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager (remote-first) to operationalize and execute federal compliance initiatives at the intersection of security, compliance, and program execution. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and GRC to ensure alignment with frameworks and privacy regulations (e.g., FedRAMP and NIST 800-53) and support secure-by-design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Drive compliance-aligned initiatives across Product and Engineering
  • Track control health & ownership, manage evidence, and support assessment readiness
  • Translate compliance requirements into engineering stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Embed security requirements into engineering and product workflows
  • Maintain dashboards/metrics for engineering control maturity, open vulnerabilities, and readiness actions
  • Facilitate readiness reviews and prep sessions for external assessments
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution via automation or tooling
  • Communicate status, blockers, and key risks to program stakeholders (cross-functional)

Requirements

  • 5+ years in technical program management and/or information security
  • Experience collaborating on complex programs spanning multiple organizational groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to present to all levels
  • Ability to influence engineering teams in system/solution/product development
  • Solid understanding of secure SDLC, risk management, and cloud security principles
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and relevant privacy regulations in product/engineering contexts
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or Confluence
  • Experience with software development tools (e.g., GitHub/Git workflows), and CI/CD-style tooling (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Experience supporting or managing FedRAMP Authorization packages
  • Ability to turn compliance work into business value
  • Experience supporting compliance readiness in SaaS or cloud-native environments

  • Remote-first with work across multiple time zones; you may occasionally need to work outside standard hours.
