Role Overview

Join Chainguard as a Senior Technical Program Manager. You will lead high-impact, cross-team initiatives, convert strategy into executable plans, and help shape secure software delivery programs across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage complex technical programs to keep teams aligned and projects moving.
Translate company strategy into concrete action plans by breaking down complex ideas into achievable steps.
Own the end-to-end delivery process from initiation to launch, including:
- tracking progress
- managing risks
- ensuring quality of deliverables.
Act as a hands-on planner, doer, and communicator; influence outcomes without formal authority.

Requirements

Proven experience leading cross-functional programs, ideally 5+ years in high-growth or technical environments.
Collaboration experience with infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling teams.
Technically fluent background (e.g., Computer Science degree or equivalent real-world experience working with engineering teams).
Deep respect for secure-by-default systems and genuine connection to open source communities.
Ability to work in a structured but non-bureaucratic way.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with product operations as a discipline.
Experience in security-focused or compliance-driven engineering organizations.
