About the role
Role overview
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (STPM) at Anime Universe, you will coordinate mission-critical programs across Operations, Growth Deployment, and Creator Platforms. This is an equity partner role with no upfront cash compensation, designed for operators who can translate vision into executional velocity across complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch across Ops, Growth Deployment, and Creator Platforms
- Define and maintain program roadmaps, milestone plans, and ownership matrices
- Translate product/vision into scoped, executable project tracks
- Facilitate deep alignment across Engineering, Product, Content, and Growth
- Set up and maintain systems of record (e.g., Notion, Airtable) that scale with team needs
- Identify and unblock operational dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks
- Run retrospectives, conduct metric-based assessments, and drive system optimizations
- Establish governance for scope, communications, and stakeholder syncs
- Act as an execution layer between strategy and systems, owning delivery across levels
Requirements
- 6+ years in technical program management, platform ops, or systems launch coordination
- Proven experience managing large-scale cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous environments
- Strong fluency in async coordination, sprint/roadmap design, and Agile methodologies
- Comfortable working with tools such as Notion, Miro, Jira, Airtable, and Slack-based operational models
- Excellent systems thinking, communication, and escalation skills
- Program/project management certification or equivalent
- Required experience in entertainment tech, gaming platforms, or creator ecosystems
Nice to have
- Familiarity with token ecosystems, community ops, or blockchain tooling
Compensation & logistics
- Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week
- Remote-first, globally distributed, async-native culture
- Compensation is equity-based (founding partner level) with possible future token-based rewards; potential salary may activate with revenue milestones (pending legal/compliance).
