Senior Technical Program Manager

Role overview

Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Product team at Anaconda. You will connect product strategy to engineering execution by owning multiple concurrent programs and building reliable delivery systems in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive program strategy and execution across multiple concurrent engineering initiatives, creating structure and delivery plans from scratch.
• Partner with engineering leads and product managers to define program objectives, success metrics, and delivery milestones; ensure accountability from kickoff through close.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks and blockers, including surfacing critical issues to senior leadership.
• Facilitate quarterly PI planning cycles and help teams produce dependency-aware plans that reflect real capacity and constraints.
• Lead continuous improvement of program management processes; use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate planning/reporting and reduce manual overhead.
• Communicate program progress, risks, and impacts clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management leading complex, multi-team programs in technology-driven environments.
• Experience building TPM programs/processes from scratch in ambiguous environments.
• Track record managing 5+ concurrent strategic initiatives without degrading delivery quality or stakeholder communication.
• Proven ability to escalate risks/blockers to senior leadership with examples of influencing outcomes.
• Proficiency with Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and methodologies including Agile and Scrum; experience facilitating PI planning.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling technical program management practices in an open-source, AI, or data science company where community expectations and engineering velocity intersect.
