Senior Technical Product Manager (US Based Remote Working Options Available)

Role Overview

Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) responsible for the core infrastructure, data pipelines, and API integrations powering Ametris’ global Digital Health Technology (DHT) platform. You will bridge hardware engineering, data science, and cloud software to translate clinical, scientific, and regulatory needs into technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Platform Vision & Roadmap: Own the technical product lifecycle and roadmap for core data ingestion engines, cloud architecture, and developer APIs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Data Science, Firmware/Hardware, and Cloud Software teams to scale data handling from raw wearable sensor outputs to regulatory-compliant digital endpoints.
• API & Integration Strategy: Define and document developer-friendly APIs and data pipelines integrating with clinical trial systems (e.g., Electronic Data Capture (EDC)).
• Regulatory Alignment: Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP.
• Technical Delivery Artifacts: Write technical PRDs, architectural overviews, and detailed epic/user story backlogs.
• Agile/Scrum Leadership: Champion Agile/Scrum practices across engineering squads.
• Data Analytics & Infrastructure: Drive strategies for raw signal processing storage, high-throughput cloud ingestion, and machine learning/algorithm deployment frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management, with strong emphasis on Technical Product Management and/or Platform Product Management.
• Proven experience in HealthTech, Digital Health, Biotech, or Medical Devices.
• Hands-on experience scaling distributed cloud systems (preferably Azure), and working with relational and non-relational databases and complex data pipeline architectures.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, data serialization, and healthcare data exchange standards.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with digital clinical measures (e.g., actigraphy), signal processing, or biometric wearable sensors.
• Experience with the FDA SaMD landscape or validated systems environments.
• Strong analytics skills using SQL, Python, and/or data visualization tools to assess data health and platform performance.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent).
