About the role

Role overview

Senior Technical Product Manager (Integrations) at Ottimate (full remote). You will own Ottimate’s ERP integrations and help ensure the platform acts as a trusted system of record for customers.

Key missions

  • Own the ERP integrations roadmap: cover flagship ERP products and a long-tail legacy portfolio, aligned to customer needs and market trends.
  • Drive platform consolidation: migrate legacy customer-specific integrations onto a modern integration platform with a seamless customer transition.
  • Write clear, technically accurate specifications: partner with integration engineers on integration and data-mapping specs.
  • Own go-to-market for integrations: manage positioning, release communications, and sales/support enablement.
  • Ship major releases as the technical product owner for integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product planning and execution for integration releases.
  • Collaborate daily with integration engineers (standups, design discussions, debugging sessions).
  • Use analytical rigor to instrument and measure outcomes and resolve debates with data.
  • Support partner and marketplace readiness (including ISV programs and certifications, where applicable).

Requirements

  • B2B SaaS experience; fintech, AP/AR, accounting, or ERP-adjacent experience strongly preferred.
  • Genuinely technical: REST & SOAP, authentication/token handling, pagination & rate limits, webhooks, idempotency & retry behavior, and file-based integration patterns.
  • Ability to read API payloads and error logs, form hypotheses, and write specs engineers won’t need to reinterpret.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple ERPs, e.g. Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica, QuickBooks, Sage (and similar mid-market systems).
  • Strong AP/accounting domain depth: AP lifecycle, GL coding, chart of accounts/dimensions, AP subledger vs GL, accruals, month-end close calendar, and importance of posting periods.
  • 5+ years in product management with meaningful ownership of integrations/platform/API products.
  • Comfort with engineering collaboration and working in the details.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background as an ERP implementation consultant, AP manager, controller, or solutions architect.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS/accounting aggregation layers (e.g., Agave, Codat, Rutter) and tradeoffs.
  • Experience with ISV partner programs and certifications (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft AppSource, Sage Intacct Marketplace, Intuit).
  • Procurement depth (two-way/three-way match, receipts, subcontracting, drop-ship flows).
  • Experience retiring legacy integrations while migrating live customers.
  • Use of AI tooling to accelerate specs, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Multi-entity/multi-location or hospitality-vertical accounting complexity.
