Senior Technical Product Manager

Role Overview

Senior Technical Product Manager at ClickHouse (Full remote). You will work closely with the open-source user community, ClickHouse Cloud customers, and engineering teams to define and deliver measurable, customer-driven product improvements.

Key Missions

• Engage with the community and customers to understand current and aspirational use cases for ClickHouse.
• Distill and prioritize feature requests, issues, and needs into clear priorities for new capabilities and improvements.
• Partner with engineering to scope and refine solutions to customer problems.
• Define measurable customer success goals and use data-driven approaches to ensure new capabilities meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Results-driven with a bias for action and “can do” mentality.
• Open-source experience, ideally as a product manager.
• Ability to publicly present (meetups, conferences, webinars).
• Strong product/market vision for data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, and observability.
• Ability and desire to work directly with customers/community, including providing technical guidance and support during POCs.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving with business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder influence without direct authority.
• Expert SQL skills and deep familiarity with ClickHouse or a highly related OLAP technology.
• Passion for building enterprise capabilities that remain powerful yet easy to use.
• Knowledge of data engineering markets (data warehousing, data analytics, data science, BI, observability).
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Engineering experience, ideally with distributed/cloud systems in C++.
• Experience working effectively remotely in a global distributed organization.

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience specifically with ClickHouse.
• Demonstrated distributed/cloud engineering background in C++.
