About the role
Role Overview
Join Incode as a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM), owning complex technical relationships with Tier 1 financial services institutions. You will act as Incode’s primary technical authority for your accounts, operating confidently in regulated environments and leading formal change/release management.
Key Missions
- Build and maintain executive-level technical partnerships with Tier 1 financial services accounts.
- Own the technical account relationship end-to-end, including:
- Architecture reviews
- Roadmap alignment
- Risk posture
- Long-term platform strategy
- Lead formal change and release management:
- Upgrade windows, test plans, customer communication
- Rollback procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance during releases
- Support security reviews and compliance conversations with InfoSec/security stakeholders.
- Coordinate technical resources and partner with Account Directors on commercial strategy.
Profile / Requirements
- Exceptional communicator (executive briefings, incident postmortems, technical specifications).
- Multiplier mindset: create playbooks/tooling/frameworks and provide technical guidance for regulated customer needs.
- Full-stack fluency (debugging webhook failures, reviewing AWS architectures, presenting risk posture to compliance).
- Executive presence, including experience working with senior security leadership (e.g., CISO).
- Proactive account ownership: identify issues before customers do.
- Incident command experience leading major production incidents.
- AWS architecture experience, including multi-region and availability zone implications.
- 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role with ownership of Tier 1 enterprise accounts (e.g., TAM, CSE, Solutions Architect, or Principal SE).
- Scripting/automation skills: Python, Bash, or equivalent.
- Data analysis/reporting fluency (dashboards, health scorecards, SLA reports, trend analyses).
- Full-stack integration fluency (Web/Mobile SDKs, REST/webhooks, async patterns, SQL, logs, distributed tracing).
- Experience working with Tier 1 financial services in a technical capacity.
- Experience interfacing with security/compliance stakeholders (CISOs, InfoSec, internal audit).
- Familiarity with enterprise change management (model governance, freeze windows, release gating).
- Knowledge of at least two: SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CCPA, PIPEDA.
- Experience related to identity verification, fraud prevention, biometrics, or security products.
- Knowledge of mobile/client-side security threat modeling or related attacks (e.g., SDK injection attacks).
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment scaling during hypergrowth.
