Senior Technical Account Manager

Role overview

Join Docker as a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) and act as a strategic partner to Docker’s most complex, high-value enterprise customers. You will drive long-term digital transformation, ensure customer success, and serve as the voice of the customer to influence product and engineering priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision for multiple enterprise accounts, driving adoption and expansion by aligning Docker capabilities to customers’ long-term business objectives.
• Serve as the voice of the customer for product and engineering teams by synthesizing and prioritizing feedback from multiple accounts.
• Perform platform health assessments and maturity reviews, delivering best practices across:
  • Dockerfiles and images
  • CI/CD
  • Registry strategy
  • Secure software supply chain governance
• Mentor and guide junior TAMs and contribute to the broader Technical Account Management team.

Requirements

• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; proven track record building trusted relationships with C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and orchestrate technical strategy for multiple complex accounts, proactively identifying and resolving systemic issues.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in containerization, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and the broader cloud-native ecosystem.
• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Senior TAM, Principal Solutions Architect, DevOps Consultant) with experience managing and expanding enterprise accounts.
• Experience mentoring or leading technical professionals.
