About the role
Role Overview
Join ClickUp as a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be a strategic partner and trusted advisor for customers. You will own the full post-sales customer lifecycle, ensuring long-term success, scalable adoption, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own post-sales lifecycle: from implementation and onboarding to ongoing managed services and strategic expansion.
- Build customer success plans and guide adoption of ClickUp.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support to align efforts and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Lead structured account planning for assigned customers.
- Use dashboards and metrics to report on customer health, adoption, and ROI, and translate insights into recommendations.
- Maintain executive-level engagement (ATL/BTL) with strong communication and credibility.
- Apply technical acumen: understand ClickUp platform capabilities, automation logic, integrations, and AI Agent functionality.
- Be AI-native: design prompts, build agentic workflows, use automation frameworks, and scope AI use cases and consumption plans.
Requirements
- Strong Project & Program Management ability to manage complex customer programs with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Consultative discovery skills (workflow analysis, process design, identifying friction points) and structured mapping of customer needs.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and influence without authority.
- Comfort with data & reporting using dashboards/metrics; ability to interpret usage data.
- Technical understanding of ClickUp capabilities and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Executive presence and excellent communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agentic tools such as Claude, n8n, Make.com, or similar tools.
