About the role
Role Overview
Vultr is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to strategically source and recruit top talent across corporate roles, with a primary focus on Engineering and other technical roles, as well as GTM and Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Strategically source candidates for multiple corporate requisitions, prioritizing technical and Engineering hiring needs.
- Source passive top talent matching requirements for both skills and compensation.
- Conduct phone screen interviews using reliable recruiting and selection methods.
- Assess candidates on knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitude relevant to each role.
- Drive requisitions with a strong sense of urgency, owning the process and candidate communication flow.
- Own compensation analysis, facilitate compensation discussions, and help advance/close candidates.
- Represent the employer brand and build influential candidate relationships; develop pipelines and networks.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to develop and update job descriptions/specifications.
- Act as a business partner to Hiring Managers and leadership to build teams strategically.
- Apply recruiting best practices, keep processes on track, and escalate persistent gaps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the recruiting process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful Recruiter (in-house or staffing agency).
- Required: experience sourcing for technical roles (e.g., Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, Data) within a high-tech company.
- Strong understanding of role requirements across technical and other corporate functions.
- Extensive experience with ATS and sourcing sites, specifically Ashby (or similar) and LinkedIn.
- Ability to manage compensation conversations with analysis and strong candidate close rate.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism; ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven role.
- Professional, process-oriented, self-motivated “can do” attitude.
