Role Overview

Join Pinterest as a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager in the Ads & Monetization organization. You will lead company-level programs that drive long-term business innovation and differentiation within Ads, influencing senior leaders and aligning cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead company-level Ads & Monetization programs impacting multiple company OKRs.
Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver complex Ads programs.
Own the metrics and accountability framework, connecting:
- delivery
- performance
- experimentation
- measurement signals
Provide executive-level reporting and ensure program governance, tracking, and dependencies are managed effectively.

Requirements

10+ years in technical program management or related experience leading company-level programs tied to business-critical objectives and revenue.
Proven ability to build accountability systems across teams without formal management authority (e.g., metric frameworks, roadmap tracking, launch governance, dependency management, exec reporting).
Track record influencing senior leaders (VP/SVP/Staff) and aligning multiple organizations on high-risk, high-complexity, ambiguous programs.
Experience contributing to company-level product/technology roadmaps, translating ambiguous opportunities into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale programs in domains such as ads, marketplace systems, machine learning/AI, ranking/recommendation, experimentation/measurement, and data platforms.
Strong technical judgment and communication to guide tradeoffs and evaluate approaches (without needing to be the primary system designer).
Experience using AI to improve program speed and quality, with an approach to validating accuracy, protecting sensitive data, and maintaining accountability for final decisions.

Nice to Haves

BS (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
