Join Pinterest as a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (GenAI) to help transform Pinterest’s software engineering for the AI-native era. You will lead company-wide programs that improve developer productivity using AI-assisted workflows while defining operating models, metrics, and safety guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide programs to improve developer productivity via AI-assisted coding, validation, code review, and deployment safety.
• Drive the roadmap and operating model for AI-native engineering practices across teams (engineering, infrastructure, security, and product).
• Partner with teams to standardize best practices and enable consistent adoption.
• Define and operationalize scorecards, metrics, and guardrails covering:
  • Productivity and adoption
  • Quality and reliability
  • Cost

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical fluency in developer workflows, engineering systems, platform/tooling, or software infrastructure.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive influence.
• Proven track record driving engineering productivity/transformation across multiple organizations.
• Strong judgment balancing speed, quality, safety, and cost.
• 12+ years experience as a technical program manager (or related).
• Significant experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs with company-level impact.

Preferred

• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, developer agents, platform adoption, or software delivery transformation.
